Brecon Town Concert Band present music from Academy winning films including—Star Wars; Lord of The Rings; Schindler’s List; Fiddler on The Roof; Hamilton; Chicago; Wicked plus many more.  Aberhonddu and Talgarth Male Voice Choirs will also be performing.

Free childen’s concert featuring music from films. Audience participation is required (clapping hands to the beat) and once the Band has finished playing there will be an opportunity to go on stage and try some of the Band’s instruments. Adults must be accompanied by a child! 

Black RAT Productions and Blackwood Miners’ Institute present. A new comedy by Richard Tunley. After binge-watching Who Do You Think You Are? Count Dracula becomes convinced he’s got royal blood—thanks to a dubious link between Vlad the Impaler and the Prince of Wales. So, he orders a flat-pack coffin off Temu, books himself an Airbnb, and sets off for the Black Forest… only to land in Blackwood in the South Wales Valleys!

Join us at The Muse, Brecon as we welcome author Gloria Blizzard for evening of readings and discussion of her book Black Cake, Turtle Soup, and Other Dilemmas, as she yours her book in the UK, as part of Black History Month celebrations. This event is supported by Griot Arts.

A new children's work, created in 2024 by multi award winning 2Faced Dance Company. Choreographed by Artistic Director Tamsin Fitzgerald, three male performers set the stage to tell the story of a lonely little boy and his new friend, FISH. 

A special night hosted by Brecon’s wonderful Folk and more Club … Cahalen Morrison Live. Originally hailing from the high desert of Northern New Mexico, Cahalen has been touring solo, as a duo with Eli West, and with his band Western Centuries over the past 15 years.

Following triumphant Met turns in Roméo et Juliette, La Traviata, and Lucia di Lammermoor, Nadine Sierra summits another peak of the soprano repertoire as Amina, who sleepwalks her way into audiences’ hearts in Bellini’s poignant tale of love lost and found. In his new production, Rolando Villazón—the tenor who has embarked on a brilliant second career as a director—retains the opera’s original setting in the Swiss Alps but uses its somnambulant plot to explore the emotional and psychological valleys of the mind.

Erin Harpe has been playing country blues since she was a little girl, getting her chops from her virtuoso dad, roots/blues musician & Stella guitar expert Neil Harpe. The return to Brecon for Erin & Jim having previously stolen hearts and minds at The Brecon Tap. ALSO returning to Brecon is Lucy Piper having played here via the DUO Southern Fried Groove Queens THIS time Lucy will play alongside Kaspar Berry Rapkin.

STEVEN KIRBY & DEIRDRE CARTWRIGHT (guitars) with Nick Kacal (bass), Ryan Thrupp (drums) and guest guitarist John Close. Expect an evening of top groove music with a professor of jazz harmony & improvisation, US visitor Steven Kirby, meeting up with 'Rockschool' hero jazz guitarist Deirdre Cartwright.

Valley Rock Voices is a dynamic women’s choir based in Neath, Wales, founded in 2016 by Cerys Llewellyn-Bevan. What began with 12 friends seeking solace and joy through music has blossomed into an ensemble of over 200 women, aged between 21 and 80. The choir’s repertoire is eclectic, featuring songs by artists such as the Bee Gees, The Killers, Katy Perry, Primal Scream, and even incorporating elements from rapper Stormzy.

The award-winning creators of Austen’s Women, That Knave, Raleigh, A Christmas Carol, I, Elizabeth, Female Gothic, Christmas Gothic,and A Room of One’s Own are back with a brand new solo comedy show: Jane Austen’s magnificently crafted tale of manipulation and manners.

Join this exceptional group of traditional flamenco artists as they journey from one continent to the next exploring artistic expressions, delving deep into almost-forgotten knowledge and searching for true origins of the art form that we have come to know as flamenco, at Theatr Brycheiniog.

Brecknock Sinfonia is a first class Orchestra for Brecon and the surrounding district. The orchestra is a blend of professional players, instrumental teachers, and talented amateurs from across South Wales and the Marches. They come together for four concerts a year, this concert is held in Brecon Cathedral.

Ad/Lib Cymru are thrilled to be bringing this special evening to Theatr Brycheiniog. Without doubt Jonathan Davies in one of the biggest names in the history of Welsh rugby. He played in the 1980s and 1990s, and represented Wales in both rugby union and rugby league.  A goal-kicking backline player, he played his club rugby in Wales, England and Australia. Davies has since become a television commentator.
