Hear the musical magic of the movies come alive as epic film scores are reimagined on the Cathedral's majestic organ. Assistant Director of Music, Matthew McVey, in collaboration with special guest Joe Spriggs, explores the sweeping, unforgettable themes of some of Cinema’s greatest moments - Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Sound of Music, Da Vinci Code, Jurassic Park - in the spectacular surroundings of a candlelit, iconic Brecon Cathedral.

It’s nearly 20 years since the launch of Brecon Baroque Festival and still it grows and thrives in the lovely setting of the Brecon Beacons National Park. There is a wonderful extensive line up this year to be enjoyed.

Brecon Cathedral Lunchtime Concert Series
There are a variety of wonderful lunchtime concerts happening throughout the summer. Fridays at 1pm see Brecon Cathedral host some stunning performances to be enjoyed for free on your lunchtime or afternoon off! Admission is free, there is a retiring collection. All welcome.
